July 29, 2010 Fourteenth Court of Appeals upholds VLF Judgment
The Vethan Law Firm PC is pleased to announce that the 14th Court of Apeals, Harris County, Texas, affirmed the trial court’s June 10th, 2008 judgment in Cause No. 14-08-01134-CV; Charles So.T. Chea and Diana Chea v. Paul Moon, Jason Poon, Raymond Poon, and Marine Foods Express, Ltd.
The court’s judgment, based on a summary judgment granted on June 10, 2008, dismissed Plaintiff, Chea’s claims for fraud, conspiracy, breach of an employment contract asserted against Jason and Raymond Poon and Marine Foods Express, Ltd. as part of the takeover of Chea’s company assets by Marine Foods Express, Ltd. The Plaintiffs claimed damages in the amount of $20 million.
